The advertised destination is based on the social group and other groups may go elsewhere – they will agree on a destination at the clubrun start or ride leaders will post their intentions on the club’s Facebook group.

The clubrun start is fairly informal and if nobody asks if there are any new riders or approaches you, please identify yourself as a new rider and ask for advice on which group to join. If you are new to group riding, it’s best to join a group going slower than your usual pace at first so you can focus on getting used to group riding rather than keeping up with the group. Make sure you have suitable clothing, a serivceable bike, enough water, a couple of spare innertubes and a pump or CO2.
