Sotonia Cycling Club has its base in Southampton, Hampshire and draws its members from around the local area. We are an 'all round' club taking part and organising events across most aspects of cycling, all year round.
We currently have over 140 members making Sotonia one of the biggest (and we like to think best!) clubs in the south of England. We love welcoming new members and introducing them to all types of cycling - competitive and social. Our members compete in all aspects of the sport: road racing, time trialling, cyclo cross, track cycling, sportives and mountain biking.
On the non competitive side, we hold Sunday runs throughout the year catering for all abilities and a series of reliability trials (non racing events over set distances) in the winter months. On our Sunday runs we often have as many as three groups setting off to cover different distances at various speeds to cater for all comers. Read the club run guide for more information.
Membership is open to all - our members range from 12 years old to over 80 - for more information about Sotonia and details of membership, go to the about page. If you are new to cycling, our members will be glad to advise you on bicycles, equipment, training, diet and all cycling matters.
You can use this site to keep up to date with the latest Sotonia news, find details of forth coming time trials and races, check out the results from all the club events, find information on the local courses or see what our members get up to in the gallery.
