The first autumn Reliability Ride of 2019 goes out to the CHALKE VALLEY. It is under 60 miles in length (about 95 km) and features the magnificent 14% ascent of Bowerchalke Hill, which leads up to the Wiltshire/Dorset county border before dropping gently down to Sixpenny Handley. The ride starts from Carlo’s Ices and Tearooms on Sunday 29 September, at 10:00 am. (Note the later start: 10:00, not 9:00.)

Reliability rides are traditional winter or early season non-competitive events which test your ability to ride a given route within a set time. You can choose from one of the following standards: Gold 16-18 mph, Silver 14-16 mph or Bronze 12-14 mph.
