Women's Ride – CANCELLED

CANCELLED – Due to a forecast of strong winds all day Sunday this ride will be cancelled unless the weather improves dramatically by Sunday morning.

The next Sotonia women’s ride will be on Sunday 9 February, starting at 9.30am from Willis Avenue, North Baddesley. The route will be in the region of 40 miles with some hills involved at a pace of around 13.5 – 14mph. This ride will be led by Jan Burnage.

Please ensure you bring some means of fixing punctures. To save time at the roadside, we recommend carrying a spare innertube or two, tyre levers and a pump (or CO₂) and some instant patches for backup. You may also want to carry a tyre boot in case of a torn sidewall (you can make one from an old toothpaste tube).

In order to ensure that the ride is not oversubscribed can you please email clubruns@sotonia.co.uk so that we have an idea of numbers involved.

Please refer to the Riding with Us and Getting Started pages on the Sotonia website and bring a completed new rider form with you if it’s your first time riding with us (available from the Getting Started page).
