What a brilliant day out. With 30 riders making the crossing to the Isle of Wight for our Day Trip, Sunday 5th July turned into one of the best club days of the year and the weather played along perfectly.
Three routes were on offer short, medium and long and every group had a great ride. The island delivered on all fronts: quiet roads, stunning coastal scenery, and just enough climbing to make the café stop feel well-earned. The weather was also perfect for the lesser used anti clockwise route!
A big thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a great atmosphere, to the ride leaders who kept their groups safe and on track, and to all those who helped sort logistics on the day. The club really showed what it’s about.
