The April route starts in Romsey, taking a northward direction and passing through the settlement of Newton Tony en route to Porton Down and then back via Winterslow, Pitton and the Dean Valley. A Distance about 42 miles, A gpx file of the route is attached. The ride will start from ROMSEY BUS STATION at 9:30, or a little before/after. It will finish in the town centre, near the statue of Lord Palmerston (by the Cornmarket)
NOTE: The route has been amended due to resurfacing between Dunbridge & Broughton.
You can download the amended GPX file here

(To download for free don’t open in the RideWithGPS mobile app – use a computer or find the “Desktop Site” option in your mobile browser.)
To comply with Social Distancing regulations, please send me an email so that I can assign you a starting time; it will be as close as possible to 9:30. If you wish to ride with a friend/partner or in a group of up to six, please give me everyone’s names so that I can start you off at the same time. Include a contact number if you have one. If you would like a Paper Routsheet (with turning directions), please let me know; it’s usually a good idea to have one anyway, in case of GPS failure.Reliability Rides are not races; they are mainly a test of fortitude, navigational skill, and the ability to deal with minor mechanical problems (e.g. a puncture) along the way.
A list of participants and starting times will appear on the Club Members’ Closed Facebook Page, a few days before the event.
Very best wishes,
Bill Drabkin, Reliability Rides coordinator
