Warm conditions for the latest club 10 mile time trial and a good turnout of riders saw some decent times recorded.
Coming toward the end of the recent heatwave, clouds were darkening but the heavy showers kept off as 18 riders tackled the P128 course, which takes in Cadnam, Bartley and Copythorne.
Clear fastest on the night was Russell Speight, VC Venta, going off last but he was well over a minute faster than Sotonia’s James Peckham in second and Evan Jardine-Skinner the organiser on the night, who managed to fit in his ride after the stress of rushing round the course to erect the warning and direction signs!
